The Austin Cemetery is located near Rock in the Shawnee National Forest. Travel 1.8 miles on the Rock road north from State Rt. 146. Watch for the Forest Service fire road on the right side of the gravel road. From that point it is about 0.3 mile walking east and then south to the cemetery. In dry weather a vehicle can be driven there.Some tombstones are very worn and there is evidence of several unmarked graves. Enumerated by Flo Austin Dunning and Faye Bowman, 1999.
