"The Cradle Roll Department of County Line Baptist Sunday School was organized in July 1933 with 10 charter baby members. Their names are the first ten of this list. Wandie Morris was the first Superintendent. Later, Ollie Abbott was elected as assistant Superintendent.

In the fall of 1935, Ollie Abbott became Superintendent and Wandie Morris served as assistant.

In spring of 1938, Wandie Morris was elected as Superintendent and Ollie Abbott as assistant. To the best of my recollection no action was taken in Sunday School over the changes in 1935 and 1938. Ollie Abbott and I just exchanged our work as I was in Peoria for awhile. I still remained superintendent, but in Feb. 1945 by action of Sunday School we elected the following officers, Irmal Childress, assistant and Ollie Abbott, was visitor for babies on the roll that moved to Peoria.

Ollie Abbott resigned in Feb. 1946, as only one baby remained on the roll in Peoria area. For many years the Sunday School elected their own officers once every quarter.

In years even farther back the Sunday School was held only in the warmer months of the year. Why our Church did not always have charge of Sunday School election of officers etc. I do not know, except guess maybe it became a habit from when Sunday School was held only part of year.

In April 1946, the Church took over the control of Sunday School and teachers and officers were elected for remainder of Associational year ending Sept. 30 1946, Wandie Morris was elected Supt. and Ella Pollard, assistant.

Rilla Stapleton, assistant.
In July 1949 election for Oct. 1,1949 to Sept. 30,1950 was Wandie Morris, Superintendent.
No election of Supt. in 1950, Wandie Morris continued to serve as Superintendent.
In July 1951 elected was Wandie Morris, Supt. To serve Oct.1951 to Sept. 1952.
July election for Oct. 1952 to Sept. 30, 1953, elected Wandie Morris, Supt.
July election for Oct. 1953 to Sept. 1954 Wandie Morris, Supt.
I asked not to be re-elected in fall of 1954, Cradle Roll department was omitted."
