Milo Ganes Allard

Milo Ganes Allard was born in Pope County November 19, 1861. Died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Quintel of Birmingham, Mi January 5, 1945,aged 83 years, one month and 16 days.
Mr. Allard spent his 52 years of his early life in Pope County; knew more people for a man of his age, as he was a livestock buyer in Pope and nearby counties. His last years he lived in Highland Park and Birmingham, Michigan. He was a charter member of the Masonic order; was baptized March 18, 1933. He was a kind father, a true friend, a good neighbor and a loyal citizen. He had been in failing health for the past year. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, Orello, three sons, Ammon of Detroit, Mi, Everett,of Quebec, Canada and Phillip of Birmingham, Mi. Three daughters, Mrs. Fred Quintel, Miss Cleo Allard and Mrs. E.A. Pearson of Birmingham, Michigan. One brother, Ambrose Allard, of Kimmundy, Illinois. 7 grandchildren, Mrs. Hazel Coldgrove, Wayne Allard, serving in the Navy, Mrs. Eric Erickson, Mrs. Eddie Landry, Glen Allard, Miss Juanita and Dale Pearson. 6 great- grandchildren and a host of friends.
