Charles Raymond Anderson

Charles Raymond Anderson, the son of Green and Louisa Anderson was born August 26, 1888 near Golconda, Pope County, Illinois. He passed away June 2, 1954.
On September5, 1912 he was married to Nettie Kerley. To this marriage was born two daughters, Lucille and Loetell. Loetell died in infancy.
He joined the Mt. Zion Baptist church, later moving his membership to the First Baptist church at Anna.
Mr. Anderson was well known and respected by many and loved by all. Singularly free from affectation, he lived his own life in his own way. He was devoted to his family and within the sacred precinct of that narrow circle, he found and cherished holy association and happy hours.
Those of his immediate family, who survive are: his wife, Nettie Anderson of Anna, Ill., one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Morse of Vincennes, Indiana and two grandchildren, Alice and John. He also leaves two brothers and two sisters: Rufus Anderson of Hollywood, Florida; Rodney Anderson of Hardy, Arkansas: Mabel Phillips of Los Angeles, California; and Marie Jones of Gilman, Ill.
