David Owern Bowman

David Owern Bowman, a prominent young man of the Rock Community, passed away at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvis Bowman, last Saturday, following a lingering illness of several years duration.
Mr. Bowman was but 22 years old at the time of his death. He leaves a wife, formerly, Miss Edith Sistler, and a small child, besides his mother and father and other relatives to mourn his passing.
The deceased had been ill with tuberculosis for the past few years, during which time everything was done to relieve his condition which could possibly be done. He spent some time in Colorado at a sanitarium but received no relief and came back to the home of his parents to live.
Besides the wife and child and parents he is survived by the following brothers and sisters; Wesley, Rue, Eugene, James and Edith Bowman who are at home, and Mrs. Paul (Missouri) Morse who lives in the Rock Community.
Mr. Bowman's untimely death will also be regretted by many relatives who live in Golconda, among which is his aged grandmother, Mrs. Missouri Bowman, and several Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and scores of friends all over the county.
