Mrs. Margaret Brush, daughter of William and Polly Reames,
born in 1839, in Pope county; died Oct. 7, 1919. She was married
to Green Brush at the age of 17. To this union 7 children were
born, 5 of whom are dead and 2 living to mourn her departure,
viz: Mrs. Emmie Capps and Green Brush.
She was converted early in life and joined the Baptist church
at El Bethel about 35 years ago.
She was laid to rest in the cemetery at Mt. Zion near Rock.
