William R. Bullock was born May 3, 1837. He was married
to Mary Ann Knox in 1856. To this union were born 10 children,
5 girls and 5 boys, 3 are left to mourn the loss of their father.
William was a member of Co. E. 120th Illinois Regiment Vol. Inf.
He enlisted and served three years. He was honorably discharged
from the service in 1863. He was a good father and a faithful
companion.
He was married to Martha Jane House in 1904, and lived a happy
and contented life with her as companion. She is left to mourn
his departure. She has been faithful in caring for him these
many years and has the sympathy of all his friends and neighbors.
Rock-Another of our oldest and highly respected citizens
passed to his reward Wednesday morning at 6 0'clock, Uncle Bill
Bullock, who was 84 years of age. He was buried in the Mt. Zion
Cemetery, funeral conducted by Eld. W. E. Baker.
