Effie Jane Delleplain, daughter of John E. and Allie Grisham
Bowman, was born in Rock, Pope County, Ill. November 9, 1899;
departed this life on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 28, 1934 at the
age of 34 years, 3 months and 19 days.
She was united in marriage to Charles Delleplain, October 16,
1919. This union was blessed with 5 children, three of which
died in infancy.
When Mrs. Delleplain was eleven years old she professed faith
in Christ and joined the Dixon Springs Baptist Church. Her membership
was later transferred to Third Baptist Church in Marion.
She is survived by her parents, a brother, Virgil Bowman and 2
sisters, Mabel Miller and Miss Wilma Bowman of Dixon Springs.
She is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Rock, IL.
