with this great truth, life began with Julia Fritch on April 16,
1884 and ebbed away September 1, 1957.
She was the daughter of James and Bettie Trammel, and was
born near the village of Rock and lived all her life within a
few miles of there.
She was united in marriage to George Fritch in 1901 and to this
union four children were born: Pearl Wideman of Brownfield, Ill.,
Hosea Fritch, Glendale, Ill., and two dying in infancy.
She was converted at an early age and joined the El Bethel Baptist
Church in 1914 where she in her early married life enjoyed services
very much.
Aunt Julia, as several called her, stayed close at home though
when company came in it was her delight to spread a bountiful
meal, she was happy with the simple quiet life. She with her
husband have always lived on a farm and labored hard.
She has been in declining health for sometime but the last four
months has suffered tremendously, and all the doctors and loving
hands could do, she slipped quietly away, Sunday evening.
She was from a large family though most of them preceded her only
one half- brother survives her, John Moore of Puxico, Mo.
Her immediate family who survive her are her husband, George Fritch
of Waltersburg community, two children: Pearl Wideman and husband,
Dorse, of Brownfield; Hosea Fritch and wife, Irene, of Glendale;
two grandchildren, Dale Fritch and wife, Linda of Elgin, and Dean
Fritch at home. A lot of nieces and nephews and a host of friends
