Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Thursday at Whitnel
Funeral Home, Vienna, for Allie Lauderdale, 84, Vienna. She died
Monday, Sept 30,1985 at Union County Hospital, Anna. Burial was
at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation was set for from 5 pm until 9pm
Wednesday.
Mrs. Lauderdale was born March 22, 1901, at Rock, daughter
of Andrew and Amanda Lovall Robinson. On Oct 2, 1918, she was
married at Golconda to Roy Lauderdale, who died Dec 12, 1960.
Survivors include a daughter, Mae Wright, Dongola, and two
sons, Roy Lauderdale of Buncombe and Robert Lee Lauderdale of
Springfield.
She is preceded in death by three children, Evelyn Anderson,
Odell Lauderdale, and an infant daughter Fay.
Also surviving are 30 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren;
two brothers Adolph Robinson, Chicago and Joyce Robinson, Golconda,and
one sister Ms. Lela Stevens of Golconda.
Ms. Lauderdale was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist church, Pope
County.
