Risen, March 5__ John Von Tungeln, aged 82, of Risen, a retired
farmer and timber man, died Tuesday at a Fordyce Nursing Home.
He had served as school director in the Plainview School District.
He was a member of the Gideon Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Von Tungeln of Pine Bluff;
five sons, Harold Von Tungeln of Risen; George Von Tungeln and
William Von Tungeln, both of Pine Bluff; R. E. Von Tungeln of
Farmington, N. M., and J. D. Von Tungeln of Sylmar, Calif., and
three daughters, Mrs. Annie Goats of Pine Bluff; Mrs. Gerald Klink
of Brownfield, Ill., and Mrs. Bill Albee of Huntington Park, Cal.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p. m. Thursday at the Buie Funeral Chapel
here. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery near Pine Bluff.
