Mrs. Della May Adams, 72, died at noon, August 24, 1962,
at Harrisburg hospital, after an illness of several months. She
was born Aug. 26, 1890, the daughter of William Harris and Elizabeth
Keaton Staub.
She leaves her husband, James Adams, and three daughters, Nancy
Martin, Ada Bowman, and Lela Bowman; also her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother in California;
and other half- sisters and brothers in Metropolis, Ill. and Paducah,
Ky
She was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle Mitchell, of California.
Della was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist church.
Funeral services were held at Rottman Funeral Service chapel,
August 26, 1962, and she was laid to rest in the Waltersburg cemetery.
