Marion C. Morgan died at his home, in Blytheville, Ark., April 23, 1926, in the 79th year of his age. Deceased was born in Pope county, Ill., and made his home until about 20 years ago, when he and his family located in Arkansas. he united in marriage about 50 years ago with Miss Mary Reid, and to this union ten children were born, seven of whom survive. Their mother passed away 30 years ago. The children living are Oscar, Marion, Laura and Erbie, of Blytheville, Ark., Mrs. John Laird, of Rosebud, Ill., Mrs. Rena Garrett, of Carrsville, KY., and Hattie Morgan, of Little Rock, Ark., and one half-brother, Uriah Morgan, of Quincy, Ill.; several grandchildren and three great-grandchildren He professed faith in Christ many years ago. On Monday, April 26, his body was brought to his daughter's, Mrs. Laird, near Rosebud, and on Tuesday, appropriate funeral services were conducted by Eld. W. E. Baker, and his body was consigned to the tomb in Antioch cemetery.
