Guy Lester Glass was born March 8, 1887 ( date is blurred,
doesn't match age 73yrs.). He died December 16, 1951. His age
at passing was 73 years, nine months and ten days.
He obeyed the Gospel of Christ in 1922 and thereby became a Christian.
He lived a quiet humble Christian life from then until he took
his journey to a better land.
He leaves to mourn his passing his ever faithful wife, Millie,
and eleven children. The children are: Blanche, Belle, Beatrice,
Ellen, Florence, Edna, Margaret, Pauline, Lucille, Andrew and
Grace. He is survived by 30 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
and seven great-great-grandchildren. He is survived by ten sons-in-law
and one daughter-in-law. He leaves a half-brother, Richard Lloyd.
He leaves some cousins, nephews and nieces. He had many neighbors
and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Homberg
Church of Christ, with Jesse Hall of Paducah, KY., officiating.
Burial was in the Hemphill Cemetery north of Tansil.

Mr. Glass passed away Sunday at 12:21 a. m. in the home of his
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Anderson at Rosiclare.
