Dennis Wayne Kerley
Dennis Wayne Kerley, son of Weaver Kerley, who survives the passing
of his son, and Chloe Watkins, deceased, was born in Herrin, Ill.,
on September 20, 1918, and departed this life on Aug. 16, 1969.
At the time of his death he was 50 years of age.
He was married to Viola Murrie and to this union three children
were born. Surviving is a daughter, Judy Espionoza, and one son,
Michael Kerley, both of Paducah, KY. One son, Patrick preceded
his father in death.
On December 10, 1967 he was united in matrimony to Julianna Jusas,
who survives the passing of her beloved companion.
He is further survived by one sister, Mrs. Florine Cummings of
Elgin, Ill., many other relatives and numerous friends of a life-time,
all of whom will sadly miss him. Two brothers and one sister preceded
him in death.
For twenty years he served in the United States Navy and since
his retirement from the Navy, he has been employed by the Robbs
Lumber Shed. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion
in Vienna.
