Emma Dodds, 80, dies in Centralia
Sandoval -- Mrs Emma Julia Dodds, 80, of Creal Springs
died today at St.Mary's Hospital in Centralia. Mrs Dodds was
born in Hardin County, the daughter of Doctor Allen and Sarah
(Gullett) Ledbetter. She was married to Robert Dodds who preceded
her in death. Mrs. Dodds was a member of the Methodist Church
and the Eastern Star. Survivors are two sons, Robert Dodds of
Norfolk, Va. and Harvey Carlisle of North Carolina; four daughters,
Mrs Oweda Jane Warren of Sandoval, Mrs Geraldine Snowden of
Dallas, Tex., Mrs
Elizabeth Golembiewski of Norfolk, Va. and Mrs Mary Bell West
of Virginia' two brothers J.W.of Lincoln, Neb.,and J.R. of Anna.
A sister Mrs. Charlotte Rae Patterson of California; 14 grandchildren,
14 great grandchildren and several step-grandchildren. Funeral
services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cox and Martin
Funeral Home with Rev. David Hall officiating. Burial will be
at West Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home after
4 p.m. tomorrow.
