Lora Frances (Simmons) Bush was born Jan. 13, 1882; died Jan. 27, 1923; aged 41 years and 14 days. She was married to Arthur Bush Nov. 8, 1906and to the union seven children were born. Two preceded her to the great beyond, namely: Katie and Gusta.
those surviving are: Gathel, Jessie, Wayne,
Ward and Theda. Beside husband and children, she leaves to mourn
a mother, four brothers and a host of other relatives and friends
to mourn her departure.
Lora was a kind mother and a good neighbor, always willing to
help those who were in need.
Dear children, weep not, for mother accepted Jesus as her personal
Savior, and when your trials on earth are done, if you too, are
washed in the blood of the Lamb, you shall meet her, where there
will be no parting.
After funeral services, conducted at the residence by Bro. Joe
Henley, attended by a host of sorrowing relatives and friends,
the body was laid to rest beside her children in the Morris Cemetery
to await the peaceful resurrection morn.
Asleep in Jesus, O! how sweet,
From which none ever wake to weep.
A calm and undisturbed repose,
Unbroken by the last of foes.
