William A. Robbs

William A. Robbs was born August 5, 1853, died at the home of his son Ross Robbs in East Metropolis Nov 13, 1923. Age 70 years 3 months and 8 days.

Mr. Robbs was a citizen of Pope county for a number of years. He was the father of 15 children 10 of which were living 8 of these were present at the funeral. Those present were: Mrs. Emma Wise, Marion; Mrs. Mollie Morris, Glendale; Mrs. Minnie Lambert, Eddyville; Mrs. Thelma Vinyard, Mitchelville;
Ross Robbs Metropolis; Roy Robbs, Mathews, MO; Harry and Willie Robbs of Sikeston, MO. Funeral service were held Wednesday by Rev. Rose and Morris with burial at Sulphur Springs cemetery in Pope County.
